Tasks
Your mission:
- raise public awareness about air pollution and its impact,
- make people realize that to breathe polluted air is not a normal aspect of urban life
- build partnerships with businesses, media, NGOs, and government institutions
- create strong, accessible content that engages and inspires people
- create a bridge between civil society, government bodies and community

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to raise public awareness and engagement.
- Prepare and publish content regularly in line with the content calendar.
- Analyze communication performance and propose improvements.
- Identify, build, and maintain partnerships with media, NGOs, businesses, and government institutions.
- Prepare presentations, partnership proposals, and collaboration formats for joint initiatives.
- Lead communications support for events — from announcements to post-event coverage.
- Create written content for articles, research publications, informational materials, and social media.
- Participate in the launch of campaigns and support the organization of events.
- Optimize internal communications and content production processes.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in environmental issues and a desire to make the city’s air cleaner
- Based in Kathmandu and open to hybrid (both online and on-site) working model
- Higher education in marketing, PR, journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing skills and the ability to turn research and complex topics into clear, engaging content (both in English and Nepali).
- Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
- Strong self-organization, responsibility, and positive attitude
- Proven ability to work with civil society organizations and local government bodies(e.g., experience coordinating with the Federal government, ward offices, municipal departments, or community-based organizations in Kathmandu)
- Understanding of the local political, social, and cultural landscape of Nepal, including how decisions get made across different stakeholder groups
- Ability to work in a team
